The eastern area of the community has a series of interconnected lakes/ retention ponds. These lakes are used as a buffer overflow for the city street storm sewers. They are a designated wildlife habitat by the Department of Natural Resources. They cannot be cut, trimmed or modified by the residents or the HOA without written permission from the DNR. This policy applies to an area approximately 30 feet from the waterline.
FISHING IS PERMITTED FOR RESIDENTS ONLY AND IS STRICTLY CATCH & RELEASE. NO OTHER RECREATIONAL USES ARE PERMITTED.
This includes Swimming, Power Boating, RC Boats, Sail Boating, Paddle Boats, Rowboats, Ice Skating.
The Lake areas are treated for algae by a licensed contractor but during the summer months, in the hottest months there may be some algae along the water edge.
These areas are NOT PUBLIC PROPERTY. Any person who is not a resident of HOA is trespassing on private property and may be asked to leave.

Fireworks are ONLY permitted to be detonated during the dates and times per the City Ordinance. Fireworks are NOT PERMITTED in any common area, in, and around the lakes. Please remember these areas are a Mitigated Wetland Wildlife Habitat. The waterfowl and wildlife shall not be disturbed. The fireworks should NOT be landing in the ponds or the public right-of-ways per State and City Laws.
